Design Notes
Codon-optimization was done on the Bay Laurel Thioesterase gene to increase the expression in E. coli. Codons were also changed to rid the sequence of illegal restriction sites. Classic cloning was done to ligate sigma 70 constitutive promoter to Bay Laurel Thioesterase for fatty acid expression.
